Privacy policy
Last updated 7 October 2026
Content Scheduler is a personal tool that uploads videos to the YouTube channel of its owner. This policy explains what it accesses, what it keeps and how to remove its access.
YouTube API Services
Content Scheduler uses the YouTube API Services. By using it you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy (http://www.google.com/policies/privacy).
What it accesses
With your permission through Google sign-in, Content Scheduler accesses:
- Your channel's basic details: channel ID, name and handle, to confirm which channel it is connected to.
- The list of videos on your channel: titles, video IDs, privacy status and publish times, to avoid uploading a video twice and to record when each one went live.
- Upload access: to upload videos you have marked as ready, with the title, description, tags, category, made-for-kids setting, altered-content setting and thumbnail you wrote, and to set their publish time.
It also reads the notes and video files you point it to on your own computer.
What it stores and where
- Your Google sign-in token, stored in a file on your own computer so the tool can keep working without asking you to sign in each time.
- A record of each upload (note name, video ID and link, publish time, a fingerprint of the video file), stored in a file on your own computer.
- The video's status, publish date and link, written back into your own notes.
Content Scheduler has no server and no database. Nothing is sent anywhere except to YouTube, through the YouTube API Services, to carry out uploads you asked for.
Sharing
Your information is not sold, shared with or shown to anyone else. Content Scheduler has no advertising and does not let third parties serve content or ads.
Cookies and device data
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking. The tool stores the files listed above on your computer and nothing else on your device.
Keeping and deleting your data
Data obtained from the YouTube API Services is kept only as long as the tool needs it. To delete everything, remove the token and upload-record files from the tool's folder, or delete the folder. Data is also deleted within 30 days of you revoking access.
Revoking access
You can remove Content Scheduler's access to your Google account and YouTube channel at any time on the Google security settings page: https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
Changes
If Content Scheduler starts storing data anywhere other than your own computer, this policy will be updated before that happens, with a new date at the top.
